I am currently attending Utah State University and working toward receiving my bachelors in Family Life Studies with a minor in Psychology and Mental Health Awareness. Part of my requirements is to have 50 hours of Practicum in the mental health field. I chose this path because I want to be able to help others who are in need and give them a sense of hope. I think it is important that others don't feel alone and there is help out there. I've always been told that I am a great listener, easy to talk to, empathetic, and understanding. I think this would be a great opportunity to show my support while helping someone else.

...See more I am almost 44 years old, and I would like to announce something I am proud of and almost accomplished. I work full time and have been earning my bachelor's degree for 8 years now. I can proudly say that I am graduating this spring. For those of you that think it's too late, or you don't have time, or whatever the reason, I am here to tell you that you can do anything you set your mind to.
