How to deal with a best friend avoiding you?

...See more I found out my best friend has been "giving me space and needs space himself," however he hasn't communicated this to me. I feel frustrated because I've spoken to him about this before. He has vocalized that he struggles to communicate, which is a pet peeve of mine and something I really struggle to tolerate. I feel myself slipping into devaluation, but I know he's an amazing friend and sometimes people struggle. He's done so much for me - he's a "drop everything to be there" kind of friend, so this distance really hurts. I know I want to keep the friendship, I just need ways to cope with his distance while he pulls himself together.

...See more I'm looking for more comfort shows. My current comfort shows are Gilmore Girls and Ghibli movies. I've looked into Sailor Moon, Bee and Puppycat and Gravity Falls. I'm looking for cozy/lighthearted/fun stuff to watch - especially cartoons and anime. Does anyone have any recommendations?
