I am, in fact, afraid to speak.

I wrote this username when I was 16, and returning back to 7Cups, I realise that I have always been in fear. Eternal fear that clogs my thoughts, and I cannot help but spiral down.

Well, anyways, you understand things better as you grow older, don't you?

My Pet and My Family

...See more Hii everyone! So, I have a pet cat (let us call him N). He is adorable, and we adopted him with his brother (T). Both of them are rescues, they used to be stray and we adopted them. Of course, this has caused a strain on my family. My dad has anger issues, and my mom loves the cat but she is always blaming me and my sibling from inviting them inside our home. We wouldn't have adopted them if they were not being attacked by this big white cat. Anyways, flash forward to now, one of them went outside and only came back once (T attacked N), so we had to keep him outside. Now N likes to roam outside, he likes to go to the terrace and sometimes to our parking area and the road too (we try to restrict him as much as we can.) We live on the second floor. And everyone in my family keeps on opening the door since they say he needs freedom. He keeps screaming to go out and they open the doors. But the thing is he gets attacked by the other stray cats in our locality. And I just do not understand why do they have to do this. Keep in mind that where I live, people are not as proactive and caring towards animals. I am just so angry at them about this. And they just do not get it. Remember my dad has anger issues? Yeah, he just blasts off when I tell him to not open the door every freaking time. To my community, please do not say that I should try talking to my parents. They don't listen. Even if they do, they are so stubborn and set in their ways. And I am angry at my cat too. Why does he always like to go out? I just feel so powerless. Anyways, thank you so much for listening. Any words of encouragement or support will be truly appreciated! 💞
