Sharing this in case anyone else wants to share their mantras or borrow this one ”I am real. I am worthy. I am more than my pain. My past does not define me- my courage does. I honor my journey, my body, my mind. I am growing, healing, becoming. I deserve love, especially my own.”

...See more I was SA’d like 5 years ago and only just now have the strength to try and report it. As I was looking for resources I reached out to a helpline and they blamed me for not reporting it sooner, didn’t ask me questions about what had happened to give me a good resource and then they sent me a resource that was only for women in DV situations. I’m not a woman nor was my SA part of a DV. I just feel lost. Hurt. Shocked that someone actually did that to me. I was looking for support and I got blamed instead.

...See more I deal with angry patients all day long. Today I got threatened and misgendered. I’m tired, dealing with my own ***, and these people use me like a punching bag. We are working on banning the patient that threatened and misgendered me but the company I work for does not like to ban patients. I feel so unappreciated. This is my safety. And I can’t just quit.
