I’m Era, but you can also call me Rue! 𖹭

I'm 16 years old, a junior in high school, and I'm volunteering as a Listener, here, on 7 Cups. My main focus is to help others by listening with kindness, and support people through whatever they're going through.

I believe everyone deserves to be heard. Whether you're feeling anxious, stressed, or just need a comforting conversation, I’m here for you. You’re not alone, and I’m happy to help you find a way to feel better. I'm available to talk with each person from 30–50 minutes, and maybe even an hour! So, don't feel rushed, because there's plenty of time for us to talk!

I'm also here to make some friends! I would love to get to know you!

Some facts about me:

• I like drawing and art! I do my more serious artworks every once in a while when I get the motivation, but during that time, you'll find me sketching out ideas or making silly little drawings.

• I love fashion! I dreamed to be a fashion designer when I was little! I'm always experimenting with my style and my clothes!

• Some of my favourite artists are Kendrick Lamar, Frank Ocean, Alice Phoebe Lou, Gwen Stefani, Hemlocke Springs, Jessica Pratt, Angel Olsen, You'll Never Get to Heaven, Rose McDowall, etc. — I listen to almost every genre!

• My comfort/favourite show is The Good Place! Absolutely amazing show that I definitely recommend! It's so worth it!

• My favourite colour is pink!

• My dream is to study Medicine and become a neurosurgeon!

Red Status — Offline

• This means that I am not online at the moment, and probably won't be for a couple of hours. While offline, I'm probably either in school, or I am sleeping! During this time, don't be afraid to leave me a message, I'll check on them when online!

Orange Status — Busy

• This means I'm online, but am currently occupied with talking to another member. Once I am finished with said member, I'll be sure to talk to you!

Green Status — Online

• This means I'm online, and free to talk! Don't be afraid to reach out to me!

I am new to 7 Cups, and this is my first time volunteering as a Listener! I'll be trying my best to help you as much as I can!
