@SynchroRebellious2007 I think the best way is to be yourself. Be kind, passionate, patient, and loving. And eventually the friends you deserve will find their way to you.

1. Stay in Touch and Follow Up

Friendships grow through consistency. Reach out, make plans, and check in with people you meet to strengthen the bond over time.

2. Be Open and Approachable

Smile, make eye contact, and show genuine interest in others. Ask open-ended questions and listen actively to build rapport.

3. Say Yes to Invitations

Even if you’re unsure, accept invites to social gatherings, events, or casual hangouts. The more you put yourself out there, the more chances you have to connect with people.

Go outside and talk to people. something at least my generation forgets (Gen z) is that friendships are built on relationships. you wouldn't call someone you barely see and never talk to a girlfriend/boyfriend right? Keep consistent contact with people you enjoy, make plans with them and go out. also follow up with people who are reaching out to you!

Be open to people inviting you places, and Go Places!!! I hate that so many people use dating apps to find friends instead of making time to go outside to find friends. Go to a local bar, if you don't drink from a club you like. Adults make clubs like book clubs, sports clubs and gaming clubs all the time, you just have to find it. Eventbrite is great for this.

GOOD LUCK!!! <333

Oh! I also recommend (for getting out more) find one place to go, at least once a week, around the same time, every week. Eventually you'll get to know the people who go there at the same time as well.
