Grief and Loss Support Check-in
March 3 ~ March 10 2025
Hello, lovely grief and loss support community! Welcome to our weekly check-in.
How are we all doing? I hope that the week is being gentle to you and you find time to take care of yourselves.
I often hear the phrase that you have to move on or get over grief, but i'm not sure that we actually do (if you don't relate that's okie!) Grief doesn’t have a finish line. It doesn’t expire after a certain number of months or years. I think sometimes people expect it to shrink until it disappears, like a wound that fully heals. But for me, it’s more like learning to live with a missing piece. The world keeps moving forward, and in some ways, I do too. I laugh, I make new memories, I experience joy. But that doesn’t mean I’ve left my grief behind. It lingers in unexpected moments, a song playing in a store, a joke they would have loved, an anniversary I wish I didn’t have to mark. It’s shaped into who I am, shaping how I see the world, how I love, how I carry others with me.
I will always miss them. I will always love them. And I think that’s okay. Grief isn’t something to "get over." It’s an extension of love, and love doesn’t have an end. Sorry for the ramble 😛
Whatever you are feeling, it's welcomed and valid here. I am always here for you and you are not alone. Please reach out if you need anything at all, You are loved and cared about truly. I wish you all an amazing week ahead. <3

Here are some reflections for the week
❀ How are you doing? Highs? Lows?❀
❀ In what ways has grief shaped you or perspective on life❀
❀ What is one thing you would do if you had the superpower of invisibility? ❀

We hope you all have a wonderful week. I look forward to hearing everyone’s responses, and please don't hesitate to reach out for support.

@CaringEzra hi sweetie 💗 if I had the power to turn invisible, I'd probably play a lot of pranks on people😁😁😁 but yeah I agree, grief never leaves you it becomes part of you💖 it's taught me to appreciate the small things, and don't waste a chance to tell someone you love them and to make as much happy memories as possible💖
gives you a giant tiny hug 💗
