I'm doing well! How are you keeping?
One problem I've been able to make progress on is reaching personal development goals. I'm really grateful that I was able to reach some of them despite a few setbacks and challenges.
I appreciate these prompts and thank you for all that you do on here. 💓

"Quite okayish" sounds like a step up from "quite harsh" a couple weeks ago. 👍 Have academics felt like they've gotten better since then?

How has your week been so far?
we be sick so start of week not so good but am feeling little better today. last two days been very bad. yesterday did not even come online.
What's a problem that you've been able to solve or make progress on lately?
we been able to made progress on setting better boundaries with others in our life. the one friend that not liking this at all we told her that we not going to allow another person to demand us to call them everyday. this a big step for us as within the abuse we grow up in we had others demand and even control our daily life and time. so we not going to allow that to happen again to us.

Oh yuck. 😢 Hope you get well soon. Glad that you're starting to feel a little bit better (and that you took the day off to take care of yourself).
That sounds huge that you were able to hold the line on not agreeing to talk every day by phone. Sorry that they got upset. I guess that's part of boundary-setting sometimes unfortunately.

thanks that so called friend got mad yesterday due to we did not text her answer phone calls. but night before at 11:05pm we texted her stating that we most likely not text and answer phone calls next day due to we got very sick friday sleep all day sat. and most of sunday. she texted a threat to be done with us so we called her on it as only on 16th feb. she did same thing to us. it not us that needs her it more she needs us. toxic one sided friendship we can live without but she make it sound like we was mean to others at the mental health club but we not go there much due to many like her there acted like they in middle school sadly most have no healthy boundaries too more we heal more we out grow going there we really kinda only went for her as she beg us to go but we know she just want us to accepted her back as a friend right now we thinking not a good idea at all

Yeah, that's totally reasonable that you'd be less socially active when you were really sick. Also, you let her know ahead of time what to expect to try to reduce the chances of her being surprised/upset if you were less responsive, which was pretty thoughtful. 💜
Sounds like if she acts on her threat (i.e. we won't be friends anymore), it wouldn't feel like much of a loss. Sort of like the friendship is more of a net-negative than a net-positive for you right now.

it always been a one sided relationship sadly she takes but does not give support back. we called her on things she stated that were not true many times too. we seem to give her many chances to change too. but truth is she seeks attention from anyone who will give it to her. we not really missing her at all due to she kinda talked about things we asked her not to talk about. due to our abuse. but she say all the time oh i did not remember. but she remembers things others said or did gossip about them we ask her not to do that too we have a very strong faith based life truth is think that what always kelp us going too so things we see as wrong we try not to do. she dismiss things we said a lot. yes we do care about her but she became more toxic to us we tired of trying to support her when we have nothing to give having lots of mixed feeling we not use to feeling either
