Wrist drawings

Do you guys draw on your wrists? Does it help? I’m trying it now to see if this can be helpful for me.

It's a better idea than self harm, plus a way to show creativity, I'd find some skin safe/temp tattoo pens if you do that way you aren't doing damage on the inside.

I often use it as a distraction, but it can be a great way to process and express emotion without harming yourself

Something that has really helped me is putting ice cubes on my wrists or in my hand. The cold feeling can be very strong and sometimes painful but it is a good alternative to actually causing and open wound. Or snapping a rubber band against your wrist. These aren't ideal but they're good if you know you are going to self harm and you need an alternative.

img-9294_1741564828.jpegI like to draw butterflies with temporary tattoo markers. This one is a stencil. Using the butterfly method of recover has definitely helped me.
