How to use the Help Center for filing reports
by Heather225
Last post

...See more (If the text is difficult to read, you can view it in this document.) [https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yULRSdC1K9GmxSpkgdpPTQ1-ksxOisXZk1QLS48u6k4/edit?tab=t.0] Hey everyone, 7 Cups utilizes specific forms within our Help Desk for reporting various issues (behaviors, incidents, etc.). This is the primary method for submitting reports. Please follow these instructions for reporting: 7 Cups Help Center [https://help.7cups.com/hc/en-us]   >   Submit a request [https://help.7cups.com/hc/en-us/requests/new#]  In the Description box, please fill in these answers: 1. Your 7 Cups username: 2. The name of the listener you’re reporting: 3. The date of the incident: 4. Where did you encounter this user? 5. Reason for your report: 6. Attach any screenshots that apply to the situation you are reporting Important Tips for Reporting: * Provide as much detail as possible. This helps the 7 Cups team understand and address the issue effectively. * Screenshots are incredibly helpful. They provide additional context. * Please avoid submitting multiple reports for the same incident. This can slow down the process. * Familiarize yourself with the Community Guidelines. This will help you understand what behaviors violate the rules. (Link to the page below!) If you're having trouble accessing the Help Desk, please email your report to community@7cups.com All reports generally receive a response within 72 hours. Please wait at least 72 hours before sending a follow-up. Important Updates -- Cheers and Forms [2025] 🦺

...See more Hi, everyone! I hope you're all having a nice February 🌞 Over the past few weeks, we have been really busy behind the scenes trying to think of the best ways to advance the Safety Team. During our hard work, we have decided on a few changes that will hopefully achieve this goal. Here are the changes that we have decided on: * As of March 1st, filling in the form when flagging is mandatory. I know -- filling in forms can be tiring, tedious, just plain annoying. But, as it stands, this is the only way we can measure who is actively flagging on the team. If you are an ambassador, this does not apply to you. In every other case, you must fill out this form, linked here [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdXEfHsSo9L1aj48p6v0umXsRL-P-bQJCZBBYA0s_n8n6-V9Q/viewform]. *  We are increasing the amount of cheers you earn per flag. Yes, you read that correctly! Currently, we award 10 cheers per correct flag -- this is being upped to 25 per correct flag. To put that into perspective, if someone correctly flags 10 profiles, they will receive 250 cheers, whereas before this point, it would have been 100. This is quite a big difference, and is in effect as of this month! If we see an increase in the amount of users submitting forms when flagging, we will further increase the amount of cheers earned. Thank you for reading! Please leave a comment in this thread so that we know you have read and understood everything in it 🌟 If you have any questions or feedback, please contact me: (https://www.7cups.com/@Rebekah [https://www.7cups.com/@Rebekah]). Safety Reminders 🌈

...See more Hi Teenieland! I hope this post finds you all happy and healthy! 🩵We want to create a post to remind everyone how important safety is and we can’t emphasize this enough. 7 Cups is an understanding and wonderful community filled with lots of amazing people that can be some of our best friends! But remember, this is still the Internet. 7 Cups has guidelines in place for a reason. No one is above these guidelines and we all have to be safe. 🩵We want to reiterate some basic, but extremely important, safety tips! These go for adults and teens! * Don’t go offsite to chat with anyone! It doesn’t matter if this is Adult-Adult, Teen-ATL, or Teen-Teen. Avoid at all costs! * Don’t share any personal or identifying information with anyone. It’s important to protect yourself and your anonymity. 🩵 * If you see something, say something! This can be chats, profiles, forums, etc. Do not be afraid to speak up! If you are going through something, chances are someone else is. You can report (with screenshots!) anything to the help desk! [https://help.7cups.com/hc/en-us/requests/new]  * You can talk to any of the Admin or Ambassadors about anything you are concerned about. We are here for you and we don’t want you to think you are alone in any of this. If you have more specific safety concerns, you can reach out to @Heather225, @Rebekah, and @Tommy. If you are interested in joining the Safety Patrol Team, you can find more information and the application here. [https://www.7cups.com/forum/safe7cups/Part1SafetyTeam_1685/ApplyfortheSafetyPatrolTeamNowOpentoListenersandMembers_273682/] Thank you for reading this! If you have any tips that you would like to share below, please do! 🩵 *This will be cross-shared in Teenieland forums with Heather's approval.*

...See more Hay you awesome sparkles of ✨ amazement ✨ ! Do you know what time it is? Yaaas you dooo! It is Teen Safety Tips Time! (Say that ten times fast 😂) This awesome series started with this legendary post, take a peek here [https://www.7cups.com/forum/safe7cups/TeenSafetyTips_2661/IntroducingtheTeenSafetyTipsCampaign_325452/].      Today, we’ll chat about the nice public Wi-Fi that we can see available in so many places. It is so nice and we might think “Whatever, I’m getting that Wi-Fi” And that’s okay, because who doesn’t want free Wi-Fi, right? 🤷‍♀️ The thing about those public Wi-Fi's though is that they aren’t always safe 😯 So🤔 a good thing to keep in mind is to avoid accessing personal accounts or enter all that sensitive information when we’re connected to the public Wi-Fi.  🔔 An additional cool tip 🔔 Disable the location sharing feature 📵 🌎 Many apps and social media platforms offer location sharing features. So, be mindful of which apps have access to your location and disable it unless absolutely necessary. Thank you so much for checking out this fun Teen Safety Tip! Ouh! 😁 And check these fun safety tips out as well: Tip 1 [https://www.7cups.com/forum/safe7cups/TeenSafetyTips_2661/TeenSafetySeriesTip1_325795/], Tip 2 [https://www.7cups.com/forum/safe7cups/TeenSafetyTips_2661/TeenSafetySeriesTip2_326184/], Tip 3 [https://www.7cups.com/forum/safe7cups/TeenSafetyTips_2661/TeenSafetySeriesTip3Takecontrolofyour7Cupsexperience_326575/?post=3521030] & Tip 4 [https://www.7cups.com/forum/safe7cups/TeenSafetyTips_2661/TeenSafetySeriesTip4_327054/]   ✨ [https://www.7cups.com/forum/safe7cups/TeenSafetyTips_2661/TeenSafetySeriesTip1_325795/]💙✨ ✨

Teen Safety Series: Tip #3- Take control of your 7 Cups experience!

April 2nd, 2024
...See more Hello and welcome to the Teen Safety Series [https://www.7cups.com/forum/safe7cups/TeenSafetyTips_2661/IntroducingtheTeenSafetyTipsCampaign_325452/]. In today’s post, we will be learning one more step. At 7 Cups, we believe everyone deserves a safe and supportive space to connect.  That simply means giving you the power to control your experiences. If you are feeling uncomfortable in a chat/ group chat? You don't have to. You can shape your experiences. We offer a couple of handy tools to help you feel comfortable and in control. * Block Button:  In 1-1 chat with a listener, if a listener's behavior makes you feel uneasy, you can block them with a single click. This will prevent them from contacting you again. Listeners can utilize the same in case a member’s behavior is not respectful or appropriate.  * Mute Button: In the group support chats, sometimes you might just need a break from a conversation. The personal mute function allows you to hide messages from specific members/listeners without leaving the room entirely. Also, you can report/ block them if their behavior is causing discomfort to you.  Please know, you are in control of your experiences. And, please don't hesitate to use these tools to create a positive and comfortable experience for yourself.  We are here with you to support you in taking charge of your well-being on 7 Cups. Here are a few more steps you can take: Report inappropriate behavior: If something makes you feel unsafe, please report it through the "Report an issue" [https://help.7cups.com/hc/en-us/requests/new/] link.    Take breaks: It is okay to step away from a chat or group chat if you need some time for yourself. Focus on positive interactions: Seek out listeners who make you feel supported and understood. Please know we are here for you. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us for any support. And, let's work together to make 7 Cups a welcoming and supportive space for everyone.  ------------------------- Did you check out Tip #1 & #2? Find them here! * Tip #1 [https://www.7cups.com/forum/safe7cups/TeenSafetyTips_2661/TeenSafetySeriesTip1_325795/] * Tip#2  [https://www.7cups.com/forum/safe7cups/TeenSafetyTips_2661/TeenSafetySeriesTip2_326184/]

🌟Welcome!🌟

As this is our Safety sub-community, these guidelines are extra extra important! 🌟 here they are below;

1. Please, be kind to all users. Forum posts/comments that attack or otherwise offend another user will be removed.
2. No offsite contact sharing. This is strictly against site rules.
3. Please, stay on topic to the best of your ability!
4. Please, keep confidential information to yourself. This means no sharing of usernames, messages in a 1-1 or a group setting, or any details about a member chat. Take any and all issues that you'd like to discuss in more depth to Rebekah or tommy.
5. Please, try to post threads within the relevant sub-forum! We understand that this might not be easy, but posting a thread such as "Hello, I'm new!" would clearly not be suited to Part 8 - Safety Activities: Discussions, Events, and Games 🌞
