...See more Summary of discussion We all try to do things differently when one way does not work for us. We do this change or want to lead a non- stressful life. Sometime we try different ways in solving a problem or a different approach when chatting with others, sometimes it works and other times it does not. Some examples are : reaching goal set each new year for ourselves taking better care health wise in our life being more productive when we have less energy or time to do certain things We want to change how we do or say things that are important to ourselves. We pick one thing with what, when, how and why. Why do you want to change or improve something, When do you want to reach that change, how can you change it for the better and how to change that. We want our lives to be better as we grow older. We are sometimes choices our of regret or angst, something we did not go how we expected or we said something our of regret and did not think of our words better. ...See more Practising patience as we grow older As we grow older we are making many compromises and accommodate others and our patience begins to grow thin. Our tolerance levels for things like discipline, courage and emotional energy. When we get older we try to stay away from drama and gossip. These are to things we begin to lose our patience over. By listening to others we lose their issues which will lead to conflict. People who can keep their time or break promises to you are not your effort. We look to find those who have time for us without broken promises. We want others to be there for us as we would be there for them. How are some things you are finding that are playing your patience? How do you deal with low patience for something or someone? The power of hope - goal setting As we go into a new year some set resolutions or goals to improve or better ourselves. Setting goals differ among us, some goals others may not see it working for them which is fine not every goal is the same for everyone or how we do the goal setting is the same. We all hope for things and hope is more than wishful thinking. There are 3 essential elements to goal setting determination, a specific element and concrete steps to maintaining the goal. How do you work on achieving a goal? How do you feel once a goal is reached to your satisfaction? ways to improve our mental health and live a better life Self care is often misunderstood. Self care when thought out can improve our mental health. Mental health includes our psychological and social well being.
