There's a lot of uncertainty and unrest in our world right now and for anyone who may be suffering right now, either as a trans person or anyone on the LGBTQ+ spectrum, my heart goes out to you.
Please know that you are not alone. You are loved, you are valid, and you deserve to live authentically and safely.
I hope that you can take comfort in our community and lean on us. We are stronger together. Be it a virtual shoulder to cry on or a distraction from the negativity, we've got you. You belong here.
Let's all try to be there for each other during these very challenging times. Message your trans friends, let them know you're thinking of them, and let's do what we do best: listen.

Trans rights are not a debate, there is no compromise to be done, we will stand together and fight together for the rights and safety of each part of this community cause there is no lgb without the t and there never will be
this is a time we need more reminders that there is the community to fall back on more than ever 🌈

I'm trans masc and scared. I'm only 14 and I shouldn't have to worry about politics at this age, right? But now I have to. And with minimal support from my family I'm scared to be myself. I feel alone, now more than ever. All this on top of stress about my education and future, and my mental health making it hard for me to take care of myself and my pet just feels like too much. I honestly don't know what to do, I'm letting life slip by, failing classes, and to be honest I just don't care anymore.

No, you should not be having to be worrying, when you have your life ahead of you. What is happening right now (politically) is deplorable. I hope you know that there are millions of people fighting against this and that you have a world-wide LGBTQ+/MOGII community behind you. I hope you have supportive friends/youth group(s) to lean on.

i know its scary and i know its lonely and you have every right to feel just like you do, to be overwhelmed, to feel lost, it makes sense why you are feeling uncertain about your future, having news, politics and your family all on the side not very supportive of who you are isnt easy
and no you should not have to deal with any of this
just please try to remember that no political situation lasts forever, remember that there are many of us who will fight for your rights and who you are forever and ever and ever we have to and who will accept and love you and be here for you in any way we possibly can
you have a loooong future ahead of you and not all of it will be as dark or uncertain as it feels now
you’ll find your people in real life as well
and the social and political environment will change again soon enough
remember you arent alone in this even if it does feel damn lonely sometimes
