I know the feeling, people mis-judge me because they see a heavy-set person with an overbite who is quiet and thoughtful-so they think of me as "less than" simply by appearances, usually by first impression. However, once I graduated high school and got out into the world, I discovered that I enjoyed being "the fly on the wall" and got my press pass, went to work for the local little weekly paper. Ended up invited to all of the events in our area and wrote a successful opinion column for 4+ years. You just need to find your niche! 😎

I struggle too 🙁, you can’t just talk to me when it seems like I’m doing fine and happy, satisfying your social needs. It makes me feel like it’s impossible to feel upset, it’s something that doesn’t go through their heads. If I need someone to lean on, they leave it quiet or switch the topic, but until I suddenly change my mood is when they’ll see my existence again. sometimes I wish I had a friend like myself, that would go far and beyond like I’ve done for them

hey, i hear you. forgiveness is so much harder than we all think, especially when it's directed toward ourselves. it's hard to forgive yourself for something you think is your fault. i get it, i completely understand. it sounds like you're conflicted about how to feel because you want to forgive yourself, but can't.
