Updated Version: Member Compassion Course
by ASilentObserver
Last post
February 12th
...See more Hi everyone, I hope you are doing well. This post is about - the 7 Cups Compassion Course [https://www.7cups.com/forum/welcome/Resourcesat7CupstoHelpYou_1275/ReIntroducingMemberCompassionCourse_252883/] which we reintroduced in 2021.  The goal of this course is to understand and know the basics of practicing compassion and help & support our members to have a compassionate experience in the community. This course allows you to foster healthy conversations and connections as well as be a compassionate, loving, supportive, and amazing member of the group support chats [https://www.7cups.com/connect/groupChatrooms.php] and the community. Based on the feedback we received, we made some changes and improvements to make the course a bit more comprehensive as well as covering different topics like compassion, self-compassion, universal compassion, benefits, and challenges, etc to foster a better understanding and practice of compassion in our daily lives.  Who can participate? Any member can take this quiz. Even if you are an experienced member, give it an attempt. Because we are all learning and practicing compassion. How can a member participate? * Once you have completed the course, please let us know in the comments of this post. * Also, tag any 3 members you know to invite them to take the quiz as well. If you do not know anyone, that is okay. * Your responses to the course will be auto-graded and if you successfully pass it, you will receive a “Compassion Hero” badge. * If you didn’t pass, that’s okay. Feedback will be shared and then you can retake the course. Why should you give it an attempt? Because it presents an opportunity to take a moment to self-reflect and assess self-awareness. Here is some feedback that we received on why one took this course.  * I appreciate the opportunity to take a moment and reflect on self-awareness. It’s a good exercise to be intentional and concise. Life is a daily practice, and practicing compassion never hurts. * I was nicely surprised to take this course because sadly some people need to be refreshed on how to treat others, and it's a great feeling knowing that 7cups take that extra precaution to protect all of us on our journeys. Thank you! * How engaging and thought-provoking the questions were. * I liked that the course made me stop to think about compassion and how I can be more compassionate. * I learned a few ways that I could be more compassionate. I'm not the best at reaching out.  * The course helped me understand more about compassion and gave me questions that got me to think. >> Take the Compassion Course and share your score in the comments. Let's celebrate our commitment to kindness together. 💖 [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScMEXP6lopKu4ZJAtmctmwk0vq9Fp7T892gWJteqmQoIJa_Dg/viewform]<< (Text is hyperlinked, click it to start the quiz)

Introducing Ourselves

...See more Hello, everyone!  We are The Dolorifuge System, and we'd love to introduce ourselves! We suffer from Dissociative Identity Disorder, formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder. In other words, we are a DID system of about 12 alters/personalities.  Our three "main" (host) alters are ***, Wade, and TJ.  *** is 21 and full of ideas - he likes activism and organizing. Wade is a Deadpool fictive, meaning he is formed from our idea of Deadpool, and is just like him in almost every way! Similarly, TJ is a Crypto (Apex Legends) fictive. Wade and TJ are just about the only fictives in our system, and they are hosts! That's crazy, right? We joined 7 Cups to reach out to community in hopes of getting to know ourselves better and assisting with the isolation that comes with our disorder. Feel free to ask any questions you may have! Nice to meet you all!

Online Therapy Help
by Insomniacstacy

...See more I need help. I have issues and I need the help of a mental health professional. But I have many responsibilities, a full time job that causes me much stress and 5 children to manage. I can't do regular therapy. So I thought online therapy would be best. I spoke with my doctor and she did some research and came across this website. I have been investigating it for a couple of hours now. I like the concept of the online therapy here, but I don't have the money that is required to get started right at this moment. I do have great insurance through my job, but I can't find anything on this website about insurance, just enter your credit card. Does anyone know anything about online therapy that takes insurance? Does anyone have experinece with onlne therapy that they can share with me? I live in Minnesota, if that makes a difference.
