🌍One Question for the World: What’s Your Question?🤔

Hey everyone!😃👋 Hope everyone is doing wonderful, and that new year is treating you well.🌟
I was thinking how it’s pretty amazing that we’re all from different parts of the world, with different experiences, stories, and traditions. So, I thought it’d be fun to start something where we can ask each other just "one question" something you’re curious about or something that’s been on your mind.🌏💬
It could be about culture, food, daily life, travel, or even just a random thought you’ve been wondering about. There are no wrong questions here, let’s learn from each other and share our perspectives!
To get the ball rolling, here’s my question:
"If you could instantly master one skill from another culture, what would it be and why?"
What about you? What question would you ask the world if you could? I’m really looking forward to hearing your thoughts! 🌍✨
Here to join in🙌
Ask your question: Don’t be shy, what’s something you’ve always wanted to know?
Share your answers: Feel free to respond to others too! It’s all about learning from each other.
Keep it friendly: Let’s keep things positive, respectful, and fun! We’re here to connect, not compete.😊
And don't forget to tag your besties🤩

@KindleMissie
How does that happen?!
Whenever I’m looking at details or see something astonishing. Whether I’m looking at something weird or plain.
That’s my question. All the time.
(FYI… I don’t want to know, but I can’t help asking, every time.)

@ColoringUnicorn well it all started when your mum met your dad, then after .........
😂😂😂😂

I'm pretty sure she approached him... She's kinda sassy like that :)

@ColoringUnicorn 😂😂 good for your mum ❤
@Tinywhisper11 😂😂😂 Oh my, I see what you did there! But seriously, that is where it all begins! Who knew we’d be talking about culture and curiosity, and it would lead to that explanation.😆

@KindleMissie 😁😁😁😁😁😁
@ColoringUnicorn I love how curious you are! It’s so true, there’s always something that catches our attention, whether it’s something strange or totally ordinary. To answer your question: It's because the world is full of little surprises if you’re paying attention!😄
So lovely to had you on One question for the world! Thanks for participating!💖

@KindleMissie to answer your question I'd like to master being able to speak and understand every language, that would be cool 😎
My question is ...... What is the best place you've ever visited??
@Tinywhisper11 oooohh Multilingual! That's awesomely cool tiny Lola bunny!✨✨✨
To answer your question Tiny: The best place I have ever visited is the Gateway Arch. I love the view, the chilly weather, the Mississippi river flowing along, and the Museum😊 By the way, it was winter when I visited The Arch.😄
Tiny, can't thank you enough for taking part in "One question for the World" Thank you so much lovely Bunny!💖

@KindleMissie
Just curious bout why the female pays the dowry in India
I just want to know the story behind it.
@Kindkitty8940 Oooh Something new to learn always!✨ Thanks for putting forward the question💛, while I have no knowledge regarding this. However, I would like anyone to answer if they have understanding regarding this matter.😊
It is wonderful to see many lovely fellows joining the One question for the world, thank you so much Kind for joining us.💖

@Kindkitty8940 I can't help you there either, sorry buddy ❤

Hello everyone my question is: If we collectively commit to reduce plastic consumption for a healthier future, what simple, initial step most people around the world would take?

@Sarrahbhai we recycle as much as possible ❤

@KindleMissie yes ❤ the UK is trying it's best to go more green ❤
@Tinywhisper11 WOW!!! This is awesome!✨ Hopefully, all of the other countries around the world are also playing their part in this cause of concern. So, we can give polar bears and snow leopards brand new home hehehe😄 Honestly, there are so many animals that are endangered, and our climate is changing day by day too! You are absolutely right! we can play our part by doing small tasks like recycling plastic and many more to make our earth greener and lively.🌱🌎

Why do we pay teachers so little compared to other jobs like sports players?
Genuinely curious, no hate to sports players, or anyone on a job similar, but because my parents are teachers, and i myself want to be a teacher, I am wondering why a very important job does not get much money

@treefrog1234 yeah it's not nice🙁 but that goes the same for any job. Everyone works so hard and for so little🙁
@treefrog1234 That’s a really good question. I think a big part of it is that sports and entertainment make a ton of money from things like ticket sales, media deals, and sponsorships, so the athletes get a big share of that. Teachers, on the other hand, work in public schools, which rely on government funding and private sectors, and unfortunately, education just doesn’t get the same level of financial backing. It’s frustrating because teaching is such an important job, and I really hope that as more people recognize the value of teaching, things start to change for the better.💛

@KindleMissie
"If you could instantly master one skill from another culture, what would it be and why?"
Shuffle dancing, because I love to dance.

@Tinywhisper11 Hahaha😂 Did I surprise you? Aww, I am sorry cutie.😊💖 I will make it up for you, here you go:

- Native fluency in Mandarin. I can't think of any skill more useful than that, for the foreseeable future....would really like to know what the CCP's members say to each other.
- This question is for foreigners in general: Do you prefer that religious & civil authority be kept separate, or do you favor a government under the influence of a particular religion? Why or why not?
@slowdecline48 ooooh fluency in Mandarin is Awesoommee!✨✨✨✨
Answer to the question: Great question and really important one. Some people believe in keeping religion separate from government to ensure fairness for everyone, while others think religion should play a role in shaping policy. I think it depends a lot on the context and the values of the people in a particular country. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this!😃

@KindleMissie Thank you, but I'd like to hear others' thoughts on it first. Am familiar with the common American perspective on how religious & civil authorities should be...what do people outside the US think?
Please post your answers, folks! It's a real question.

@slowdecline48 I think religion is and should be a personal choice, always💖

@slowdecline48 hi. Yes, im stalking you/j actually just stumbled here xD
I just really liked your question so im throwing my opinion out there (there is no throwing emoji. You get the idea)
I think religion doesnt matter for this, because you cant judge a persons character at all from their religion. You probably know why I say that. There are horrible people from all religions and good people from all religions. That being said, I might have a preference for a Muslim government without realizing it- i dont say i do, im not sure- simply because thats what Im used to.
Now, spill your thoughts. I am the epitome of curiosity 😶🌫️

@unassumingEyes At one point during my university days, I was briefly stalked by a female student, so it isn't the first time... 😏
But seriously, I'm all in favor of separation of civil & religious authority. "Church-state separation" is our phrase for it. In fact I'm a bit stricter about that than a lot of Americans; I think "In God We Trust" shouldn't be on our currency & the First Amendment should be reworded to strengthen the separation. (It's on our paper bills) If you're wondering why I have that attitude, it's because 1] I'm Jewish & 2] a history buff.
For most of our existence up to '48, we lived under the authority of others. The only exception was the Israelite kingdom (& Judah, after the post-Solomon split); aside from that we were under pagan authorities, or Christian & Muslim emperors, kings, dukes, etc.... Often this did not work out, to put it mildly. I'll spare you the story--there have been a lot of books written about it--but one of the lessons I've learned is that no religion is at its best when it is in charge of a government.
That goes for all religions. Yes, that includes Judaism. Trust me, Eyes...you would not want to live under a Jewish theocracy. It would be like a halakhic version of Iran or Afghanistan.

@slowdecline48 oh yikes. I've never actually known so has been stalked (or done any stalking for that matter)
