...See more So hello fellow listeners and members! Since the diwali is reaching pretty soon. I wish to remind that it's not same for every person and how much kindness we should potray as person in every person's life because we don't know what they might be going through. So I am writing a poem just about that I hope you guys like it. Give it a cheer if you do to let me know. Wish you a very early happy Halloween and early happy diwali.  Now as the world rejoices,  The lanterns and lights glows like a freak And there are some of us whose hearts just squeaks Squeaks in a narrow glooming voice No one's to blame but we weren't left with a choice.  Choice that could've been made just by lending us an ear Maybe sometimes letting us know that there's nothing to fear.  Fear that made us sit in a corner Anyways who even want to sit with a loner A 'loner' with a bunch of issues And not a single person to give them tissues Well that's fine!  Some of us bring darkness to shine And dont worry we always come out to be fine.

...See more I heard that often that the fear of the blank page can be broken if you just scribble something in the middle of a notebook but I umm.. eheh... eheh... can't do that and won't feel good about it. I only can do it with sketchbooks... and I needed to train myself to do it 😳 yet I am an avid perfectionist 😔 it's so bad that I can wait a year with a blank notebook to gather up the courage to write in it. recently I found that if I just doodle corner ornaments in the first few pages can actually help. 🤔 the semester at my uni has started in September, and I actually decided to use a nice dotted notebook of mine for note-taking. it's a cheap Flying Tiger planner, but oh my butterfly, isn' it so beautiful still~ nevertheless, I had to take notes during classes, so it gave me a boost. a very scary boost. but... after a month, I managed to set up a system as I went and I am so grateful for past myself for this decision :3

...See more Hello, my name is FrenchMarbles, I'm one of the listeners here on 7Cups and I thought about doing several writing challenges, this one focusing on Haiku! But what IS Haiku? Good question! So it's a miniature form of poetry consisting of a short amount of lines. For example “The Old Pond” by Matsuo Bashō An old silent pond A frog jumps into the pond— Splash! Silence again. OR “A Poppy Blooms” by Katsushika Hokusai I write, erase, rewrite Erase again, and then A poppy blooms. I would love to challenge you to come up with a short poem, up to five lines maximum with the theme of mental health! It doesn't need to be cheery, any emotion is valid. One.... Two.... Three... Goooooooo!
