- Novel: "The handmaid's tale" by Margaret Atwood, a dystopian tale about what happens when women's autonomy is taken away 

- Non-fiction: "Invisible women" by Caroline Criado-Perez which shows with data how this world has been designed for men and neglects women, and "Feminism is for everybody" by bell hooks, a classic of intersectional feminism
