I welcome anyone to commit to a goal here today.
But importantly, talk about getting it done..... or why it didn't happen yet.

And to continue trying and not give up.

Never belittle your achievements and be proud of yourself for your daily accomplishments!

Didn't want to be the first but the day is practically over and still no one has commented so...
The goal this week is to complete my first lab assignment for the new class and keep up on my pictures even though I need more ink

i completed the career webinar last week and am super proud of myself! now i'm dedicating my time to an online health program i'm doing to help with my chronic illness. it's going to take months to complete but my goal is to just get through module 1 by the end of this week.

That is really great. It's a good feeling to feel and be proud of yourself. You deserve it and I'm really happy for you.
And now it sounds like you are moving forward with more benificial and strong goals. That is fantastic to hear.

I had exams and I was a little off track. Now I m back. Just finished meditation. I feel like I need a guided meditations. Sitting still in silence just pours in thoughts like avalanche. I am urging myself to be consistent with daily meditations.

Yea , that's Ok. Our timetables are really off any way. The good thing is we can still meditate and talk about it at a more conveient time. That's great you still meditated. Me too 😀
We could do it this way too. Probably better. I hope you did well in your exams and I'm glad to hear that you are taking them.😁.
That is a great observation about your mind going crazy. Guided meditation is a fantastic method, especially as you build your meditation practice. So I think that's great.
When I first started meditating a guy explained about the brain stuff, and like what could be worse than a bunch of monkeys running around in your brain? Answer... a bunch of monkeys on cocaine having a party all over your brain. It happens to us all, in other words.
Another tidbit that helped me a lot was the importance of not trying to stop all those crazy things or get away from them. Because they are real, they are things that you are worried about, it serves nothing or no one to ignore them.
There's a technique with breathing that helps mastering those thoughts with acceptance or understanding that we can talk about later if you want.
I'm going to move forward a little bit talking about the importance of a timer. Do you use a timer when you meditate. If you're doing a guided meditation then of course that's already sort of like a timer but it's not really the same thing... but for now good enough. Lots to explore... baby steps.

When I said, the brain stuff happens to us all, I did not mean it was all equal. I would like to clarify that. I did not mean to say that what goes on in our heads is the same for me as it is for you.
The guy that told me about the monkeys in the head was recovering from a long prison term and so he had a lot more things going on than I did.
What i was trying to point out is that there is a way to navigate it. 👍

Got the first part of the lab completed. Had to define a group policy for passwords and then change antivirus settings on a virtual machine. Will do the second part tomorrow.

I had a full day of running gravel for little money because of the, "favor for friends" aspect. I'm so broke, i could have used my normal charges but things will come back around. They usually do. 😀. Plus i'm glad i got those obligations off of my schedule! 👍👍.
But now I'm awfully tired with so much more i want to do. Superman mode? or call it a day. hmmm?

Got the lab done yesterday. Now to see what else I need to do for the assignment.

Got halfway through writing the policy using a template and found out that I forgot to check the announcement section in the classroom because the correct template was there.
I don't always check because the section is a ways down on the page and most classes don't use that section.

😞 Bummer! But it's easy to miss things sometimes. As we say..... OOPs, hmmmph!

@IsayUncle I submitted it yesterday and started on the second lab. Checked the announcements too. Not sure if the lab progress was saved. It got stuck in a saving loop. Will check a little later
Apparently got a bonus from work. Had a deposit notice even though I got paid yesterday. This will help with expenses. Trying to get them down but things keep cropping up and since I'm the only one that can work (cat is too old and there are no farms about for the dog) all the responsibility is on my shoulders.

@IsayUncle it did except for the document I was supposed to save to the virtual desktop. Am now 29% done with the lab. Will have to work on it Monday after I do some monthly reports.
The animals like me regardless of whether I can do stand-up or not. Right now they are both asleep. The laundry is done but the dog is on my foot...

@IsayUncle The dog liked it even with the high wind that cropped up today. She likes the wind so long as it's cool. Got the vacuuming done and some other things. Did fall asleep for an hour or so again today even though I somehow slept later than usual this morning. The dog was fast asleep next to me but she got super excited when I opened my eyes. The cat got attention too.
I didn't feel extremely productive today though. I did get a few lines typed and I need to do another picture. Mainly spent time with the animals today.
