🌞 This past week has varied between the standard, as well as a few stressors.... Last weekend I was able to officially start off the weekend by seeing that my Nursing License renewal was accepted and that everything had gone through with No issue... So that was a good way to start of my weekend with that (minor stressor gone)... Last Saturday in the morning I got in my regular Zumba class/activity for the day, and then afterwards Spent the afternoon with a small family Birthday gathering which I quite enjoyed... There were some minor stressors that "surrounded" that event before it even happened, but thankfully overall, things came together & all was well there... I didn't keep on track with any meal-planning or tracking that day, but simply focused on enjoying myself, family, & having a good time.... Sunday I got back on track with my early Zumba class to start off the week.

🌈 As the week started off, things were back to Status-quo for the most part (work, Group Fitness classes/activity, etc...). The weather was still pretty chilly throughout the week, so No outdoor time again or walks with the Furbaby.... But, About Mid-week, I received an email with an "offer" from a Facility that I had attended to possibly do "Aqua Fitness classes".... Its not something that I was expecting, nor did I inquire about. However, another instructor (via "Word-of-Mouth") gave mention of my name.... I haven't fully even thought on it yet at this point, as I had alot going on this week, (& some personal stressors that still haven't been handled to this point.. So right now my mind has been there)..... But This facility is a decent facility, but still in constant need of instructors. So I know when I'm ready to deal with it, the offer will still be there.

🍀 This weekend ahead intentions are to of course get in my activity to start off each day (with some Zumba-time)... There are also a few good Festivals in the area this weekend as well, but I was waiting to see if our weather would "cooperate"?!... Its supposed to be mild, so I'll play things as they come... The upcoming week ahead is supposed to be back to more "Spring-like" weather, So Not only am I definitely looking forwards to the upcoming "Time Change" this weekend ahead, but am also looking forwards to warmer, milder, (& also Longer & Lighter) days.... As well as some outdoor time with the Furbaby. And of course, continue on in my personal goals for March.~

ENJOY The WEEKEND~

@PoliteOcean Here's how the past week went. Monday Leslie's adult nephew Junior did a complete cleaning of the bathroom. I'm sure it needed it really badly. Tuesday I discovered that I really didn't like "The Bell Jar" by Sylvia Plath  It was poorly written. I like her poetry better. I decided to buy "Washington Square" by Henry James. Tuesday afternoon I got a massage and it was a disaster because they couldn't speak. I wasted $50 of my money. Stuart came back from the hospital and is under hospice care. Wednesday Leslie moved Stuart into the living room and I'm in his old bedroom by myself.  Thursday I had to cancel my appointment with my nurse practitioner because of Leslie's mismanagement of my move. My back was killing me. I'm always on the brunt of someone else's dysfunction. Friday I went grocery shopping and then to the chiropractor and then to Kohl's. I have a TV in my new bedroom and a hospital bed so I can prop myself up and watch TV. Now that Stuart is in the living room he is going to be stinking up the living room twice a day with his fece smell. He's not allowed to get up from his bed. Amanda is too happy for someone who is a terrible mother. She is really irresponsible. She makes a lot of noise. I didn't go for any walks this week and didn't do any reading.  Stuart will be having his home health nurse and hospice nurse coming by. Leslie says they can burst into the house whenever they feel like it and don't have to knock. I find this approach to be very disturbing. 😩😩😩 Furthermore she is trying to shove her politics down my throat. 🤬🤬🤬 Leslie hates America. 😡😡😡. For this upcoming week I have a therapy appointment with Jim on Wednesday.

@Regmo

Hey Regmo, A good bathroom cleaning is ALWAYS necessary especially when a bunch of people are living together.. Sounds like it was definitely needed…. That’s too bad that your massage didn’t go as you wanted… That’s my concern as well, that as much as I could use one, I want to be able to enjoy it. And don’t want to feel that any money has been wasted…. Since you didn’t specify, I have to assume if they “couldn’t speak” that you are saying they “didn’t speak English”?…If that’s the case, Perhaps you could try another massage facility where they do And have a better experience?… As far as Stuart being back & placed on Hospice, I’m surprised that Leslie accepted that situation. (But based on the things you have stated about the household, I suppose I shouldn’t be)… As far as the N.P., hopefully you can reschedule that appt. And hopefully with your back hurting that the Chiropractor was able to sort that out as well. But it sounds like you lucked out with a new TV & reclining bed?!.. As far as Hospice nurses, yes, they need to have access to their patients whenever needed & necessary, so you’ll need to be prepared for that situation. But as far as the “knocking”, considering it’s a private home, that sounds more like a (Leslie rule). Hopefully for you you’ll find some kind of solace in your upcoming Therapy appt with Jim on Wednesday. Keep us updated on how things go and thanks for checking in to share.

🌞Hey Everyone, Welcome to the Weekend How has the First Full week of March gone for you?  The first full week of march went well for me despite dealing with some weather and sinus related head aches.  I still have this sinus congestion thing lingering and its annoying.  I was able to work through all of it, like I usually do, but its not fun.

🌈This is our "Second" Check-in for "MARCH"~ .. We will be "Turning the Clocks Ahead" this weekend as we get ready to "Spring Forward (giving us Longer & lighter days ahead).... How do you personally feel about the upcoming time-change & DST?!...How does it, or how has it affected you Physically, Mentally, or Emotionally as we "Spring ahead"?!  Each time change, forward and back, always takes a toll on on my sleep and eating patterns.  I don't have any specific tricks or tips that I use to help with this, I just deal with it until my body adjusts.  Moving the clocks forward is always better due to the daylight aspect and that always helps my mental and emotional health in a positive way.  I personally feel that changing the clocks is an old school tradition that doesn't make a positive difference in peoples lives in this age of technology.  It should be done away with.

🌞JUST FOR FUN:.. As Spring season is just around the corner, "Spring Cleaning" comes to mind,... What is your LEAST Favorite chore to perform?!  The weather change and cleaning up, especially outside, is very therapeutic for me......with that said, I guess I could say my least favorite thing is, if I didn't get up all the leaves in the fall, (raking and picking up all the leaves each fall is my least favorite thing ever)  would be picking up what leaves are left in wet nasty piles around the bottoms and corners of the house and garage....

🌈What were your "Highlights Or Struggles" of the week?.... One highlight this week.....I passed my NASM CPT NCCA proctored test Friday......that stress is now off me......now on to the next class....NASM Certified Sports Nutrition Coach.......I have a long term goal of completing the Group fitness class certification and the certified wellness coach class from NASM also......

@CyclingThroughLife

Hey there Cycling~

Despite having to  continue dealing with lingering sinus issues, it’s good that you feel that the first week of March went well for you over all.~

I can understand your view on the time change.. I too would love for it to be done with… I’m one that definitely leans towards “more” DST… Because I too agree it’s better due to the “more daylight aspect”... And like you, it definitely helps my overall well-being too in a positive way!… It’s so great to see it back, and hopefully this is last time we have to change it again?! (Wishful thinking) lol..

Oh yes… I can also understand your view with the wet leaves! (On a personal level, I was actually thinking more in terms of the indoor aspect with all the dusting of everything after the heat running all winter)… like no matter how much I dust it continues to collect all winter… But you certainly have a point with the leaves on the outside! … And so it all begins! lol… But that’s great otherwise that you find it to be therapeutic for you! (I think that’s why I actually never minded “cleaning”).~

Oh wow… congrats on the CPT exam! That went so fast~ seems like you just started it?!… The nutrition coaching should go just as well. As well as the group fitness..  Those were the exact same 3 that I did and completed. And I found that the CPT seemed to be the hardest of the 3…Might be different for you, but You shouldnt have any issues~ keep us posted!

Thanks for checking in this week to share with us. And for keeping us updated on things. Please continue to let us know how things are going!

It's no surprise that stress is a major health concern these days, with some studies suggesting it contributes to up to 90% of all illnesses. The constant pressure and demands of modern life can really take a toll, leaving us feeling overwhelmed and depleted. That's why I'm committed to making positive changes to manage my stress levels and prioritize my well-being. One thing I'm really excited about is incorporating parent-child mindfulness into my evenings. Taking that time to connect with my child, breathe deeply, and focus on the present moment is not only relaxing but also a wonderful way to strengthen our bond. It's a small step, but I believe that cultivating these healthy habits will make a big difference in the long run. ☺️🧘‍♀️👧
