❄️ This past week was well, and has definitely gone better overall in comparison to last week.... Last weekend was another weekend of relaxing (and basically recuperating from the stressors of that week)... The weekend went well, but it was pretty cold. So the focus was to just relax indoors physically, mentally & emotionally. But I did manage to get in my weekend Zumba classes, and run a few quick errands on Sunday that I didn't get done on Saturday.

☃️ As this past week started off, I got back on track with everything (work, Fitness classes, meal-planning/tracking) etc... I kept up with personal appointments, & even managed to continue to increase my hydration goals (which could still use a little improvement)... Sleep goals were DEFINTIELY better than last week, (where I felt I was running on "E"!)… The weather here has continued to be Very Cold, so of course no outdoor time for myself or the Furbaby that we could tolerate~ Next week ahead we are supposed to have a few “Teaser” Days of warmer 'Spring-like' weather again. And I'm ready to take full advantage of that with more outdoor time if possible... The local Spring Festivals & events are already starting to be scheduled & lining-up starting Next weekend already~... (creating a bit more Spring-Fever vibes)... I'm looking forwards to being able to get outdoors more and get beyond the freezing temps.

💘 This weekend ahead, intentions are to of course start the days off with activity & get in my Zumba time~ It will still be cold, but I don't intend to allow that to hold me back from getting out & about, as I have various errands to get completed for a double-family upcoming Birthday event that I will be putting together for next Weekend~.... I'm also looking forwards to simply wrapping up this Last week of February & moving into the month of March.~ (& Officially getting through these dreary Winter months).

@aPoliteOcean Going back a week ago my new boots arrived. I got them for 70 percent off. This past week I went grocery shopping twice and for a walk twice. Monday night Leslie re-arranged the furniture. I hid out in my bedroom for 3 hours. I'm so happy Greg is gone. He was an evil person. I can't read in the living room anymore. Tuesday I moved 3 boxes into a storage facility. Leslie is such an evil person. Wednesday I took a shower. It was an ordeal as always. Leslie's granddaughters stayed here until 9 p.m. I really hate that. 😡😡😡  Thursday I returned a few items at the Amazon return desk at Kohl's.  Leslie is so rude to Sifa. I really hate that. On the other hand Sifa doesn't actually command respect. He's lazy, irresponsible, fat, and dresses poorly. Stuart had to go to the hospital. I hope he stays there as long as possible.  Leslie is clueless on how much Stuart's abuse has harmed my health. Tunde is 77 years old and in cognitive decline. I really hate that. He's the best caretaker I've had. I know I won't find anyone better. There was a misunderstanding about last week's therapy appointment so we rescheduled for this upcoming Wednesday. My legs are killing me. I have phosphoric acid and almond oil to relax the muscles but I desperately need a leg massage. There is no place to stretch here either. Those protein bars are making me sick. I don't know if it's the sugar or artificial ingredients or preservatives. It's causing me distress because I have to carry something convenient when I go out in public. I always have to have food with me.

70% Off is an amazing deal… I can never resist a great bargain when it comes to clothes & shoes…. Thats great that you were able to not only get your shower in, but also able to get out for your walks & to the grocery store on multiple occasions during the week... Leslie’s granddaughters being there until 9pm sounds a bit inappropriate when it’s not her home. But it also seems like she doesn’t really care or appear bothered by the fact that it can bother those who actually live in the home; Nor care about Stuart’s behavior…. The Amazon return desk at Kohls is definitely a helpful feature there. We have one locally as well.. I didn’t realize Tunde was that up there in age. I’m surprised he’s actually still taking on a caregiver role, As it’s not always an easy one (talking from experience)… He definitely sounds like he’s been a great & positive addition for your personal needs, in comparison to the past experiences & situations that you’ve had with other caregivers. So that’s too bad for him if he is actually in cognitive decline. But if he is in fact in cognitive decline, I’d suggest caution if he’s still driving you around?!.. Hopefully for you the rescheduled therapy appt will end on a better note in the coming week. And perhaps even a scheduled leg massage could be included soon as well to help with your leg problem. If you now have the bedroom to yourself, do you have room to stretch (& read) in there? Simple Stretching doesn’t take too much room… There are stretching videos on YouTube that you can even do from a chair or from the bed. Hopefully soon you could also perhaps research some better protein bars or even other better snack options for yourself to take with you if you need to have something on hand. There are pretty decent options out there. You just have to research them and maybe even check out the  different reviews beforehand. Of course when I look at reviews I always sort them from “lowest to highest” weeding out the least favorable first. Thanks for checking in this week to share. And continue to keep us updated on things going forward.

❄️Hey Everyone, Welcome to the weekend~... How has the past week gone for you?  This past week went well for me, especially at work.  I'm adjusting to my new position at work fairly well....with that said, have you ever felt like things are going so well that you just know that something is going to change and go terribly wrong?  That is how I feel right now with this new position.  Where work is concerned, I've never had more than 3 or 4 days where things were good before they went bad, if you know what I mean.....and that is where my head is at right now.....Yesterday, I started getting a little tickle in my throat and woke up this morning with a full blown congestion/sore throat thing going on, as well as a terrible sinus head ache.  I will probably spend this weekend on the couch with my feet up nursing this thing so I am able to function come Monday as I hate calling sick from work.....

☃️This is our "4th & Final" Check-in for February~... This month has definitely flown by~... What will your Focus be for the Last week ahead?!... What is something you'd like to accomplish before the Month ends?!  My focus this last week of February will be to prepare and study for my NASM CPT  proctored test.  I passed the open book version and did get my CPT Certificate this past week, but I want to take the proctored version and actually be certified by the end of the first week of March so I will continue to study and cram this last week and schedule the exam the first week of March.

Thanks again for posting these every week.  I really enjoy this part of my 7cups journey.

Hey there Cycling~ 🚴

Thats great for you that (despite waking up not feeling well!), that your week went well for you for the most part! And that you are adjusting to your new job position!… (as far as your question), I have definitely been there many times over the course of my personal life.. (as I’m sure many of us “over-thinkers” have)! It can definitely be a challenging feeling to get beyond in “wondering when that next shoe will drop” (so to speak)... It’s also definitely something that we have to learn to work through and get better at with challenging those thoughts right back! Something that’s worked for me at times is coming to a realization that I want to get beyond the idea of “manifesting” negative thoughts or possible “self-fulling prophecies”… it’s definitely helped in immediately shutting down negative thoughts & emotions and finding a more positive thought to counteract that.. (and of course that can really be any thought that takes you to a “better” place mentally and emotionally).~

I was wondering how things were going for you with the NASM studies… (I figured that things with your new position were probably taking the front burner for you at the moment)… But I think it’s great that you will continue to put your focus on that as the month ends. And how awesome that you got the Certificate already! And that you will plan to continue working ahead for the proctored exam soon! Please keep us updated!

And thank you as well for continuing to stop by & share your week with us. And letting us know what’s been happening and how things are continuing to go for you! I really enjoy this part also in “catching up with” as well as “hearing from  everyone”! I’m so glad to hear that you are enjoying the check-ins too. That makes my day. 🙂

Please continue to keep us posted!

@PoliteOcean

The month of February has been an unproductive one. The beginning was busy with exams and assignments but right after I was so burnt out, I couldn't get back to work.

Next month I'll try to get back into the groove of getting my school work done on time and not leave things to the last minute :)

Hey there~

Sorry to hear for you that this past month has been an unproductive one for you… Exams & assignments can definitely be a stressful time! So it’s no wonder that you were feeling burnt out.

Despite that, we think it’s great that you will continue to set your focus on trying to get back into the groove of things by getting your work done on time in the new month ahead! And trying not to procrastinate till the last minute!

I’m sure that once you find a routine that works for you, that things will definitely go a lot better. And also help you to feel better overall! That would also definitely improve your overall wellbeing.

So good luck to you there. And We wish you the best!.. Thank you for checking in to share with us this week and we hope you continue to keep us updated on things!

Hi, Ocean,

How has the past week gone for you?  I finished a bunch of homework, and took a break over the weekend.  But I am sticking to trying to be ahead of the homework.

☃️This is our "4th & Final" Check-in for February~... This month has definitely flown by~... What will your Focus be for the Last week ahead?!... What is something you'd like to accomplish before the Month ends?!  homework, homework, homework, and I'd love to be offered a new job, but I have nothing in the works.

💘How would you Sum-up the Month of February for yourself?... Is there Anything that you will do differently Or work to improve upon in the New month ahead for your Overall wellbeing that you feel didn't get accomplished in the past month?! If so, what would that be?  It was a beat-up.  Just staying ahead of homework.

❄️JUST FOR FUN:.. Name ONE Food that you will Never eat & tell us why?!  fried eggplant.  I cooked fried eggplant about 40 years ago and it made me want to throw up.  Other people loved it.  I'll never eat it again.

☃️What were your "Highlights Or Struggles" of the week?.... How were you able to work through your challenges?!  I'm sorry, Ocean.  I can barely focus.  I've got so much homework that I can't think about anything else.

Hey there Tree~

That’s awesome for you that you were able to get your work completed and was able to “catch a break” over the weekend. But I totally understand in wanting to stay ahead of the game with things! Great job to you on accomplishing what you set out to do… As long as you are continuing to take the rest and breaks that you need physically & mentally, there’s nothing wrong with putting in all the extra efforts into your homework!

Oh wow… fried eggplant.. I have only had eggplant about once in my life (about 15-ish yrs ago). But it was baked I believe, and someone else cooked it! lol.. I suppose it’s all in the recipe and how it’s cooked perhaps?!

But it’s okay Tree!! I’m just so glad that you stopped by to just say hello and take time to respond to “any” of the questions! So no need to apologize! Glad you’re doing okay and focusing on your schooling. Good luck with everything! And thank you for checking in to share! Please keep us updated! 🤗
