Testosterone Replacement Therapy

First off, I'd like to say that I'm happy to see a men's community up and running. That's great! We men sometimes need a safe space of our own.

So, recently I've been feeling very low. Very stressed, irritable, lacking motivation and just generally in a fog. I got some blood tests done and found out my testosterone and vitamin D levels were scarcely low. My doctor prescribed me testosterone replacement to improve my levels. I'm excited at the possibility to get back to feeling the old me.

Has anyone had any experience with trt?

@Mezmer

Hi. it seems your post was found in another section, after about 2 weeks, sorry... Did you start the testosterone replacement therapy? Do you think it works?

Your description of feeling "stressed, irritable, lacking motivation and just generally in a fog" sounds as if it might fit many things other than just testosterone level mid-life changes...

@jacek73 Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I've been been on Testosterone replacement for 3 weeks now. It's starting to make such a positive difference! Overall and in general I'm much more positive and have a lot more drive. I'm feel much better and the fog is seems to be clearing. Libido is starting to feel like I'm in my 20s.

They say 3 weeks is when your body starts to adapt and kick in. Seems about right to me. I'm excited to keep going.

I heard going to the gym is a huge natural testosterone booster, but don't take my words for it

@Blueboy90 I've been in and out of the gym my whole life. It definitely helps for sure. But having low testosterone naturally, there's a lack of motivation to even go. I've been back in the gym 3x week for 3 weeks now and I'm feeling a lot better
