...See more Welcome to our 52 Weeks group! <3 This challenge will help us change our lives for the better. <3 Every week, we’ll choose something in our lives to work on, anything from self-care to cleaning to our social lives, etc. Anything you’d like, no matter how small! It can be a new daily activity, a plan to accomplish a single task that week, etc. Even the tiniest task is awesome! Some examples of mini-goals: Texting a friend, reading for 10 minutes a day, eating even a tiny amount of veggies with one meal a day, dropping *** for a week, downloading a habit tracker app, watching a TED Talk twice a week, etc. This is a no-pressure environment! No pressure to post, no pressure to accomplish every goal. If you don’t do the thing you want to do, don’t beat yourself up about it. No one is judging you <3 Just pick yourself up and go to the next goal! We will change goals every Tuesday. Please post your goal and the frequency (examples: daily, a one-time goal, 3 times a day, etc). If it’s a personal goal you’d prefer not to share, just call it a personal thing. It’s totally ok to keep the goal private <3 Just let us know the generalities, so we can cheer each other on and keep each other accountable! <3 I can’t wait to crush these goals with you guys! We got this! <3

They matter more than we give them credit for. ✨ We often get caught up in what’s missing but when we stop and look around, we realize how much we’ve already got.  So, take a second and really look around — what’s one thing you’re grateful for today that you’ve overlooked? I’d love to hear! 🌸 ------------------------- P.S. As for me, I’ve realized I have way too many socks that don’t match but hey, at least I’ve got socks, right? 😅🧦

...See more ------------------------- While I was talking to a dear friend, we found ourselves deep in a conversation about the delicate balance between striving to be our best and holding onto our authentic selves. It’s a topic that’s always been close to my heart, because, so often, we disguise ourselves as someone we think others will approve of, or someone we think will fit into a particular mold. In trying to meet expectations, we become experts at pretending—adapting ourselves to environments or people who might not even care to know the real us. In those moments, no matter how hard we try or how well we perform, something feels missing. It’s as if we're running a race, but with our true selves locked away in a box somewhere along the sidelines. Even if we achieve great things, even if we impress those around us, there’s this quiet emptiness. Because, deep down, we know we weren't really being ourselves during the process. The sense of satisfaction—the kind that comes from knowing you did something with your true essence—is never quite there. Can we truly excel if we’re not true to who we are? Can we feel content if we're constantly reshaping ourselves to meet an external standard? The answer, I think, is no. At least, not in a way that brings lasting peace. Thoughts ?
